Madison, WI – Feb. 19, 2025 – Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) International, a global leader in advancing healthcare interoperability, is pleased to announce the appointment of Aaron Goldmuntz as its new Managing Director. In this role, Goldmuntz will oversee strategic initiatives, drive global collaboration, and expand IHE’s influence in fostering seamless healthcare data exchange.
Mr. Goldmuntz brings nearly two decades of experience in strategy, business development, and healthcare technology, with a deep focus on connectivity and interoperability. He has held leadership and strategic roles at the Connectivity Standards Alliance, the Center for Medical Interoperability, West Health Institute, CardioNet (now part of Philips Healthcare), and Guidant Corporation (now Boston Scientific). His expertise in interoperability, health data standards, and innovation will be instrumental in furthering IHE International’s mission.
In this role, he will implement the organization’s strategic vision by overseeing IHE International’s operational and financial performance, expanding membership and benefactor relationships, and engaging with diverse IHE stakeholders—including IHE Domains, IHE National/Regional Deployment Committees, and IHE Catalyst—to ensure the seamless development and adoption of interoperability standards through robust partnerships with industry, government, and the broader stakeholder community.

Goldmuntz holds an MHSA from the University of Michigan School of Public Health and an MBA from the Michigan Ross School of Business. He currently resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with his wife and three sons.
